Derry probably 3 points better, Kerry relying a lot on DC to keep them in the game. Derry gonna have to move McKeuige off of him because it's not working.

Would think Kerry have enough about them to find something but has ben a good half for Derry and if they could get a couple of the next scores who knows the big shock could be on .

It all depends on the three main Derry lads Rodgers, Glass, McGuigan - if one of them tire/injured early on in second half could change the game.

If I was Derry management would slow the game down - make it messy for the first 10 minutes - keep ball etc. Give the team a good rest. Get Kerry edgy. I would have the Derry fellas trying to rile/frustrate David Clifford as well in the hope he would get a second yellow as well.

Meant to be a Kerry v Dublin final I don't think Derry have read that script.

1-11 impressive scoring in one half by Derry. The cagey affair that many expected hasn't happened. Lack of intensity by Kerry their main issue in that half.

Derry had a couple of needless turnovers which have really helped Kerry stay in this. If they can cut that out Kerry have very little going for them.

Game of the championship so far. An intensity above the rest.

Some good hits flying in. Clifford's was fair, he dug his feet in and met the man shoulder to shoulder. It looked like worse on TV. The Kerry keeper should have been yellow carded for nearly taking a head off with his arse.

Kerry need more of a sophisticated gameplan for the 2nd half than just get the ball to David Clifford..no plan whatsoever on how to stop Derry..in big trouble here

RTE replay showed Kerry full back getting an accidental elbow to the head, but the ref thinks they're time wasting. He's making mistakes for both sides. Interesting second half coming.

Well I got it all wrong about Derry and not afraid to admit it!

These boys can play,I'm firmly rooting for them now. Their underage structures and finances are impressive too so they will be a force over the next while,will today be a bit of a breakthrough day and a benchmark in that process? I don't think so but I hope I'm wrong (again!) I think they'll run out of steam and their policy of only using 18 players in reality all year will be their downfall.

I'm definitely shouting for them now.
