Powdery mildew on apple tree

We just planted this tree two / three weeks ago. The tree was looking dishevelled, with curled up leaves, when it was delivered but we planted it anyway.

I'm new to gardening so what I thought where 'hairs' seems to be powdery mildew. All new shoots off every branch has it. Can the tree be saved?

    Any help would be appreciated.

It's fine, just give it a drench once a week
