3 arena drink and confection stands are cashless but the merch stand was taking cash the last day at iron maiden, hope that helps

Is there any smyths meet and greets or anything like that this year?

I see Smyths UK have announced there will be a meet and great with AJ Styles and Pete Dune on different days in the UK. It was on their Twitter feed.

The show on Thursday is the first for the SD crew while the Raw crew will be in the UK for a show Wednesday in Liverpool

The crew prob be a little jetlagged when they arrive to Dublin from the US Weds Night/Thursday morning

Any word on what hotel they are staying in?

The meet and greeting was sold out but were still ringside..

My son is absolutely obsessed, he's beyond excited about Rey Mysterio

I contacted smyths in Dublin and they could say about a London event but nothing for them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,608 ✭✭✭bennyl10

Don’t be the guy who goes to the hotel.

They’re not on when they’re not in the arena. If you bump into them, terrific, but otherwise? Let them be able to not be ‘on’ at the hotel.

My sons autistic. He waves at them on the t.v. and jumps up and down when his favourite wins. The arena would be too overwhelming for him and I've passed on our tickets

I'm a mam just taking her son. Maybe hold your assumptions that I expect people to be "on" I don't or am that guy!

I was only asking not to approach them but just for my son to see them as the meet and greet was sold out.

Going tomorrow night to the show with my two boys aged 11 and 9. Super excited. Would have gone before now if it wasn't for COVID!

Quick question, I see the time as 6.30pm on the Aiken promotions website but is that doors open time or actual show time would anyone from past experience?

    Thanks!

Buzzing for the show tomorrow. Should be a good one. Great to see the guys back after so long

Just an FYI, it’s been condemned publicly recently, people not respecting wrestlers privacy and boundaries. This includes Airports, Hotels, while they are out with friends and families. I understand your son is a fan, but adding to the circus of people wanting to get a look at them, get a picture or autograph isn’t cool. Regardless of what way you want to spin it. My advice, don’t go to the hotel when they are trying to unwind before or after a show. That’s their private time, not feeding time at the zoo for people to go and look at them.

Agreed. The autism card isn’t a fair one to play - makes you look like a bad guy then for being reasonable.

Sheamus getting a singles match is only right though tbh, the reaction for him will be massive. My young fella is most looking forward to seeing him, Rey and Sami.

What's the food situation like in the 3arena? Anywhere to get like chips or something? Just wondering if I need to feed the kids before we get in!

There's hot dogs and Nacho's and popcorn, nothing massively filling. Either load them up in town or ruby's across the way will sort you.

Other celebrities deal with it, wrestlers are no different.

Wow so maybe we should try treat everyone better instead of a race to the bottom.

Treat everyone better. What are you talking about. Oh look at me I’m so PC.

Celebrities get asked to take photos and sign autographs by their fans. That’s part of the life and fans are doing nothing wrong by doing that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,608 ✭✭✭bennyl10

this has been something wrestlers have commented on. Going to the hotel isn’t really on, regardless of situation.

and hey using the autism card with someone who is also, great job 🙌

Anyone going tonight have a ball, card is a cracker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,563 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

My WWE weekend begins tonight, have fun everyone going. I'll probably see more of some superstars tonight than I possibly will in London

Another UK tour announced for the end of October. Maybe the Raw crew might have a show here in the Autumn who knows
