The deadly downpour the weekend and now sun all week, its amazing how in such a small country the weather varies so much.

Regular showers today. We haven't had much all along though.

We could do with a fine week again. I fear a change for the worse. I hope I’m wrong!

Another 15 ml night in about 15 minutes last night. While things are perfect in one way, we could do with another fine spell before the summer is out.

Past the longest day, no dry weather in the forecast, as I was saying while great weather in one way, another fine spell on July or August would be very welcome, even if only for the beach.

Can't believe it's nearly the end of June. The first half of the year flew by. 6 months to Christmas day

When I was a child my Grandparents would only be thinking about rearing/saving hay in July or early August.

Just stepped outside for a glance up at a tin tube in the sky, i thought sounded like he was flying quite low.

It's a nippy nite for late june.

Super job,20-25 bales an acre per year from 3-4 cuts with 2500 gallons of slurry and 150 units of potash.nice bit of grazing over the winter for store lambs too once you don't over graze it

Constant rain here since yestarday evening....no let up

Even tho warmest June on record if thus keeps up for a week ground would be back to average traffic ability again

Feast or a famine here, grass is bombing ahead tho

Horizontal drizzle here now. Anybody who had a cruise on the Shannon 6 weeks ago got value for money. The dog hardly wants to put his nose out the door.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Miserably day here. I was going to do a bit of topping but decided to take a day off and stay indoors. I lit the fire a few minutes ago.

If you are going to out and about on the farm in all types of weather do yourself a favour and buy a set of proper breathable rain gear. About 10 years ago I bought OH a set of Ranger pullups/overtrousers and parka coat. At the time the coat was €200 and the pullups were €150. He still uses them and is wearing them today. Greggcare in Donegal have the Kaiwaka brand. I have the Stormforce bib and you could stand in front of a powerhose and not get wet. The mens Stormforce parka is €320 and the overtrousers are €185. I know it sounds a lot but well worth the price in the long run and the material will does not rip on a piece of wire.

    fecking winters day.

building here at moment and roofer finally landed today after promising to come almost every day for past 2 weeks. . Fecked off after 3 hours. Couldn’t blame him. I’d say he won’t be back for a week at least.
