Croker knows these fights are pissed at how restrictive UFC contracts are so is happy to sign them and let them do whatever else they want outside. Francis would be there best prime signing ever.

So what tbh...Bellator is at the flattest it's ever been and there's zero interest around the organisation. Nate Diaz could at least help bring a few extra eyes to things and they need it.
