Ticketmaster transfer

Hi, apologies if this is a stupid question but I transferred a ticket to a friend as a present which they accepted. They can't go to the concert now and I was told they can't transfer the ticket back to me. Is that right and what do I do now to get the ticket? Thanks.

Set up another ticketmaster account with another email and get it sent to that new account

@Fanirish Do you know if it's possible to resell a ticket that was transferred to you? Looking at my account and it's not giving the option to resell.

FAQ says you can however resale is usually turned off anywhere between before a show especially at weekends.

Thanks, that's a bummer. Daughter and her friend decided they don't want to go to the AM gig this coming Tuesday. Any idea the best place to try to sell them would be?
