The 10% worked on that lawnmower? It says it does not work on middle-aisle items.

33% off Formil range : many varieties included on the qualifying products, but seems that 3 in 1 pods range ( non/bio /colour ) are not discounted at the till, although are on the list; the normal pods ( 2in1?) are discounted at the till

How did you get the €50 off the lawnmower. My treats don't show this. Cheers, freebee23

10% off rather than a set amount takes the pressure off going as little over €50 as possible lol

    Anyone got cards 4 & 5 yet?

    June seems more generous :

    1. 33% off Formil detergents
    2. Free Squeezy Honey or Salted Popcorn
    3. Free Rice Crackers or Crisps 10 pack
    4. Free pastry ( a large selection to chose from )

Saw a little sticker at checkout earlier stating that Lidl are photographing trollies at checkout to combat theft. When did that start?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,376 ✭✭✭✭thesandeman

    Feck it 😡

I always stick the trolley in my rucksack when I'm leaving.

I heard it's not meant to photograph people's faces but they have some sort of policy/training for staff if they get any gdpr complaints.....

They have cctv in and out. I noticed this sticker for the first time. I can only assume stickers appeared as too many were not putting everything on the belt

Sur surely your trolly is empty when you push it through the tills. Now I know I often have multiple bottles of water or beer and I place one on the belt and tell the cashier two of those and three of those so can you no longer do this.

I know a member of staff and she told me a certain type of customer are flooding the shops lately keeping expensive items like meat etc either in a separate bag that doesn’t get emptied or hidden in the trolley and if challenged they pretend they forgot, they deem Lidl and Aldi as having the weakest security

pav point must be giving out tips and tricks

    New coupon

get Free Reusable Fruit & Vegetable Mesh Bag when you purchase 6 LOOSE fruit items which includes Pears, Red Apples, Oranges, Grapefruits, Lemons & Easy Peelers.

    Which are the cheapest ones?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 702 ✭✭✭questionmark

I would think easy peelers at 39c each

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 119 ✭✭Lucan123

My (probably incorrect) interpretation is that you need to by one of each of the six fruit listed. When you scroll down there are six pictures of the six fruit with a 1 besides each of them, when you look at the text "Any" isn't mentioned anywhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,347 ✭✭✭phonypony

I bought 8 easy peelers and was charged for the bags. I was expecting too much as usual with Lidl and their money-spinning app...

"six loose fruit items" does not say it has to be one type

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,753 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

bags are crap anyway and charging for them is even worse, they don't restock the plastic bags on purpose
