Suzuki swift instrument cluster conversion

Hi All

My Mum recently bought a car which she2 019 Suzuki swift 1.2 auto.

She has only realized after purchase that the dash when you go through menu it's all in Japanese she knew car was Jap import but didn't notice the dash in Japanese as the settings on it at time had no language on screen.

Dealer will not do a conversation now as he says it will cost thousands.

I know other jap imports have people that can covert then from Japanese to English.

I also see it is possible but only things I can find are from New Zealand and Australia.

Can anyone tell me or recommend someone who can do this.

Some of the suzukis jap imprts actually have an english menu on them that you can change to. Not sure about the Swift though.

I use google translate in camera mode to see if there is a "LANG" menu - Thats usually they way it comes up when you use google translate.

Once you find teh right menu if it can be changed it will be in there - bear in mind the Japanese to Google translate isnt as intuitive as youd expect so you might have to mess around in the settings menu to find it.

Thanks for info so when through the menus using Google translate but nothing about changing language on it anywhere.

Might help, I imagine it depends on year, version etc.

I have seen adds on donedeal for conversions, I got my prius converted for 120 euro, the guy had to take the dash apart and flash the thingy,

@jhud did you find a solution for this? I'm exactly in the same situation. These is no language option on the settings menu.

No used Google translate camera option and my mum is living with it. Then today we find out there are no rear fog lights no switch or anything.

I found a few pre-owned instrument clusters on ebay for around 100€. Will give it a try and update you if it helps.
