Anyone else having streaming blocked?

I can stream Disney, Prime and netflix no problem, but on Eir fibre Paramount+ and Hayu do not work on my Internet connection. If I use the phone and disable WiFi they do work. If I enable NordVPN to an Irish server on the firestick, both services work normally.

It isn't an issue for me to put the VPN on and off, but if it is left on, I will have to "support" someone who can't watch Disney+, the one that will not work if the VPN is active. They are just not as technical as I may be.

Is anyone else aware of Eir blocking Hayu and Paramount+ ? I wonder why they picked on those ones?

If it is being blocked and you have to have a VPN on all the time you should check your VPN setting as most of them allow you to run apps outside the VPN on their own. this would sort your Disney+ issue.

I never had this problem until a few months ago. It literally happened overnight, I think the only one that worked for me was Netflix. I too use hayu, skygo, Netflix, disney+. I couldn't figure it out.

I rang eir tech support and spoke to a a very helpful guy. He changed some settings on my router. He had to try a few different ones before it worked. I haven't had any issues since. He told me what he changed but I cant remember now what it was.
