Upgrading memory from 512 GB - is 1 TB sufficient, or go 2 TB's?

    Curious how much to buy.

    1 TB or 2 TB?

The laptop came with 512 GB installed. With the preloaded software and 3 games (FF7 remake and GTA 4 +5), I've got just under 100 GB remaining.

The last laptop I had, I had for 7 or 8 years so accounting for that, what would be a prudent amount of memory to buy for an upgrade?

I'm not a serious gamer by any means, but I definitely want to play the Resident Evil upgrades as they're released, any new hot games like in the GTA series etc.

i.e. I have no idea what storage capacity might be necessary but in general, what's a good amount of storage to have available?

Is 1 TB sufficient, or is it prudent to go for 2?
