€12 to see the game, rip of Ireland in full flow.

You can get a month of unlimited netflix for the same price just for comparison.

O’Connor yellow for the crime of daring to touch Clifford. Was a foul just about

I hope we don't rue all these missed goal chances 😬

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,198 ✭✭✭PressRun

Yep, should have buried the second one especially, was a very poor effort.

Going well, Carr looking very handy, could indeed regret the missed goal chances. Expect a Kerry backlash as they have a 28 year unbeaten record to protect.

If Kerry are as loose in the second half Conroy could have an impact

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,380 ✭✭✭crusd

the no tackling Clifford rule again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,490 ✭✭✭✭km79

    That’s a statement win

It’s almost as if there were mitigating circumstances for the Rossie loss

Kerry are completely and utterly dependant on Clifford. If he gets injured they are done . Simple as that .

Ourselves and Galway are on a huge collision course this summer I believe …….

Happy with that deserved win. Should have really won by more, Kerry keeper kept their score difference a lot more respectable.

Should have hammered them out the gate really, but will take it. Eoghan working on his shooting is good.

Very encouraging win, didn't see it coming.

If we can top the group now it could be huge. Straight into the quarter finals and can't draw Kerry again until the final.

You didn't see it coming because you got sucked into the RTE propaganda pushing, after Kerry beat some tier 3 opposition in Munster.

The channel has a vice grip on peoples thoughts on all subjects across Ireland.

Made good use to the 6 week break, lost challenges recently I understand but losing them probably was a blessing in disguise for Mayo to be fully focused this afternoon. Going to take a very good team to beat Mayo in the form they showed this afternoon.

Good to see Matthew Ruane recapturing some form. He had a great game.

Open draw but I believe repeat pairings are avoided if possible?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,380 ✭✭✭crusd

O’Shea was excellent but would have had Ruane motm, with O’Shea, O’Connor and the rest of the ff line not far behind. In fairness its hard to pick out a poor performance

Time for our fans to channel their own thoughts after watching games, instead of listening to TV channels & media pundits who big up certain teams in order to gain click$ off those who are gullible enough to buy them.

That's the most recent guidance on it.

Avoiding Provincial Final and Round One repeats mentioned for pQFs and QFs but no restriction mentioned for the SFs.

That said, the guidance there also doesn't mention that Provincial Final pairings couldn't be drawn in the group stage so potential they just missed the SF detail too.

Just to re-in-force it to those who remain scarred from past failures via mis-management.

    Enjoy the weekend folks 👌

Good and all as today went the back of my mind asks how would we do if another team sets up like the rossies did. Louth could be a good tester against a defensive setup to see what answers we may have come up with

Great win today, couldn’t help notice the media hype beforehand re Kerry were going to win based on nothing really. Mayo were written off very easily. They’re a very well organised outfit with the current management team. Get a funny feeling Galway are standing in our way later in the championship. Dublin could cause us bother but besides Mayo, Galway are the ones to watch I think…

Galway looked ordinary enough against Tyrone. Maybe that's not a bad thing in that they're "solid", but I think Mayo are every bit as good as them as shown in both league games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 731 ✭✭✭Carol25

Absolutely. I much prefer Mayo’s style of play too. Much more exciting to watch. I don’t think Mayo should fear anyone. They should aim to top the group. The race for Sam this year is wide open, great opportunity. The best approach is low hype for the Mayo men…

Not long in the door from Killarney, it's a fair aul spin in one day but it's always easier after a win. Nice town, would have loved to stay for a few pints.

Wasn't confident when the changes were announced beforehand but the three replacements did well and Durcan, Coen, etc were great subs to bring on. Dominated midfield, thought Carney was excellent in the first half in particular - Kerry really missed Moran there. Some great points from both teams.

Off out now to spray paint the sheep

Does anyone know what would happen if we and another team finish with two wins each - is it decided by head to head, or points difference?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,732 ✭✭✭irishgeo

Head to head first. Then points difference if it was a draw.

When will the details of the Louth game be confirmed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 617 ✭✭✭franklyon

Assume it will be on Gaa go anyway, opted for the 3 match package in case that and the Cork game are on there too.

I can't see all 3 on GAA Go. There would be uproar.
