The referee was rubbish for both teams, he didn’t decide the result, Leinster just weren’t good enough.

Terrible game management at the end, it was there to be won right up to the red card.

How that Leinster team have ended the season trophyless - two years running - is beyond me.

Leinster's attempt at clearing their lines was horrendous during that 2nd half.

Anyway, they now finish the season with nothing.

I knew kicking points would **** us again. Did we learn nothing from last year?

That is utterly unforgivable from Leinster. There can be no hiding.

They have every advantage you could possibly have in order to win trophies, but when the rubber meets the road, it's always frantic, out of control, and they can't get it done.

    Gross underachievement.

Booing a knocked out player isn't very cool either...

Thats the kind of back of the head hit that could be a career ender at its worse.

Yet they blew a great chance to snatch it at the end

Deserved win for LaR. Leinster with no set game plan or ideas. Lucky to get the lead they got, and then just tried to ride it out against a much bigger team who just steamrolled them

Leinster were magnificent in the first 20 but were spent in the second 40.

After all the hot air that comes out of this forum about repeat fouls in the red zone, dangerous play, time wasting etc, Leinster were the culprits in this game.

it’s hard to win without sexton but Byrne did his best. Lowe had a poor second 40.

Leinster still lack a power lump who frightens the opposition

ogara is some coach and the logical choice to replace Farrell when his time is up

Could see that coming at half time

Two throws to the back of the lineout to seal out a game is some ballsy lineout calling.

    Cracking game of rugby.

Leinster yet again seem to be flat track bullies.

17 nil up with a partisan home crowd and they completely lost their heads and stopped playing rugby.

It doesnt bode well for the World Cup that in Cup rugby so many Irish players lose their heads.

I will never understand any hype about him.

He's a fraud at the elite level.

Cullen has to go after this debacle

Clearing kicks really cost us today. Slices, out on the full 3 times. Just gifted too much to La Rochelle.

    Backs lost the game today.

I'm really shocked at that...Leinster really blew it.

Is a suit jacket over a Canada Goose jacket the hot new fashion statement for the goys down D4 these days ?

As for the match Leinster were stupid not to try a drop goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 529 ✭✭✭Dont Be at It

Leinster will win nothing with Byrne at 10. Absolutely had to put his hand up for a drop goal. Bottled it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 569 ✭✭✭CptMonkey

Don't think it affects ireland. Two different coaching set ups.

Happy for Dillane, after all he's endured personally

Jaysus if O'Gara could bottle that team dynamic he would be unstoppable.

Handy that the best bottlers in the world are also on the pitch.

Could Lowe have played last week. I think so. He sliced a few kicks straight into touch.

At one point, JgP was told the ball was taken back in and then over cooked the box kick.

    Only themselves to blame.
