AIB Mortgage, Fixed or Variable?

    Hi guys,

    In the process of getting a mortgage with aib for a loan value of 268,000€ for 30 years.

    now, being a new build they offered a 5 year green fixed interest rate at 3.85% , APR 3.68% or variable interest rate from start as following: 3.50%, APR 3.56%

    what are your opinions re this, should we take the 5 year fixed rate yes or no? Asking because we don’t have any idea to be honest…
