If I am going for a 15S setup, then I no longer need my 5kWh server rack battery pack, will be selling it for a very good price

Ok decided to put up a complete working system. 5.5kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter plus above 5kWh rack mount battery, natively talking to each other through CAN comms with just an ethernet cable. Price €2000 for all of the below, this is well less than half retail

What's the catch? Why is this so cheap? Can be seen working and fully tested before you buy. Neither inverter nor battery will come with any warranty, probably best suited to someone with some experience / DIY skills. The Seplos clone BMS in the battery pack seems quite conservative, cutting off charging when the highest cell reaches 3.38V, which is about 85% SOC. Haven't found the software to connect to it and make changes to these settings.

System comes with long battery cables, ethernet cable, brand new wifi dongle and brand new CT clamp for the Sunsynk and a battery disconnect (if I can find it), plus a 25A Garo RCBO for the consumer unit (although you might want to install a 40A instead). PM me for details.

Just click your solar strings into the Sunsynk MPPT inputs. Or don't, if you don't have solar and just use this as a stand alone battery system

If you had 8-10 available at that price I'd buy them. Perfect for someone looking to add to an existing 16s setup though

Yeah or for a beginner on a tight budget. An installer will sell you one of these and charge you €3-4k and the install will actually take about 5 minutes 😂

If you want to add 40-50kWh to your battery, you will end up even cheaper than what I am selling and with superior cells if you build it yourself. But you know all that!

Good few gone this morning, but still have several left. Although I don't expect them to hang around. Stick one on a grid tie microinverter and you have a solar PV system with a pay back time of 9-11 months.

You are wasting buyers' time and your own time if you don't give a price indication. Preferably link to an adverts.ie ad with more details in it too and some pictures, description of how old they are, reason for sale (I presume upgrade) etc.

Any brand or does it matter? I have one 370w Longi in spare room.

Not technically mine but could be for sale, but I'm in the Southeast.

Since they cost over €300 new I would doubt anyone has one for free 🤣

Try amazon, they have deals on cables now and again

€300, LOL! Where are you buying them, in Brown Thomas or from a main BMW $tealer or something? 😂 Bought my last one from Tesla for €99 and that was a full fat 22kW (32A 3 phase) cable...

Only need a cheap skinny 7kW (single phase) cable now

Elon stopped selling them a while ago unfortunately. They were the best value cable by a country mile.

I like my bargains. I have no intention of spending more than €50 on a cable, hopefully a lot less than that. Same with the PV stuff really, some people (mostly not people in here but idiots on facebook) spent so much that their system will never pay back for itself. Whenever I see that in here, I try to stop them and guide them to better value options. But some people don't want to listen. We all need to transition to renewable energy, but we really don't need to overspend on it 😥
