Meta Quest App Referral Thread. Referrer Gets Up To 5 euro. Person Referred gets 15% Discount

Meta Quest individual app/game referrals are now live in Ireland.

Im thinking if someone wants a referral they PM the next person on the referrer list with the name of the app/game for referral/discount. Referrer provides a referral link. If the referrer does not own the requested app/game then referrer posts in thread to let us know. First to reply gets to refer so we dont lose the referral. If referrer does not reply to PM within 24 hours then person looking for the referral posts to let us know. First to reply gets to refer so we dont lose the referral. Original referrer still gets first refusal via PM for the next person looking for a referral.

All suggestions/changes welcome on best way to do this but obviously depends on the referrer owning the app/game to generate a referral link.

Not much uptake since posting so for the next week only why not everyone post your app referral sections. Someone might see an app/game they want to pick up a 25% discount on.

If someone cant get a game from anyones list post to let us know and first to reply gets the referral.

As usual all suggestions welcome on how to do this. Back to rules in OP after a week to keep things fair.

Yeah I vote free for all in this thread. Not worth the admin with a boards member list for 5 euro an app referral. At someone might get some referrals this way.

Wow that went quick, mine is down to 10% now... The Assassin's Creed referrals are selling like hot cakes if anyone is on the fence about buying it.

I paid €30 for it, but got €20 back in referrals in a matter of hours... there's still a lot of demand there so stick your referral up on r/MetaReferrals (after posting here of course)

Old links from the internet should still work unless game is under €10/$10 e.g. I just tried an old link from reddit for Among Us and its invalid as I believe they changed the rules so games now have to cost over 10 to allow a referral.

Please hold out for a few hours on Until You Fall and Iron Man. I'm sure someone on here can refer you on those (I dont own them).

Sale discount price is 13.99. Referral discount price is 18.75.

We had this issue before with another game (Into The Radius). Some people could see the sale price and some couldnt.

All I can say is take whatever discount you can get. Sale discount or referral discount as we're not sure why this is happening....

Have you already accepted a referral link? (needs to be accepted before turning on the headset to get the credit)

As for Santa delivering games maybe say Santa put 30 euro credit into the headset and let your child pick some games once they get going. Theres no rush to use the credit. Plenty of free stuff / demos for them to try first.
