VAR saves Liverpool...v tight but just off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,812 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That looks offside and James was lying offside again partially in the way of the follow up shot.

And VAR has made the right decision.

Chelsea fans taking their turn at singing "murderers" and "always the victim it's never your fault" this week.

Let's see how the PL act today after their comments at the weekend. Doubt Chelsea will apologise either.

Your fans sang Munich songs for decades until Hillsborough happened, kinda funny the reverse chants only became a problem afterwards... Fuckin hypocrite.

You know you can actually condemn all that stuff rather than just going on about whataboutery and 'oh look over there at this instead'.

People lost their lives. Singing about it with glee needs to be called out, not used as a defensive mechanism. 'you did it first"....grow the f**k up.

And no I've never sang about those sort of tragedy's. Luckily enough I was educated on it very early. Sounds like you never got any on the matter.

Missing the point, no? All fans sang rubbish back in the 70's and 80's without recourse. Times have changed. LFC fans were reprimanded a couple of seasons ago for singing 'rent boy' at a player on loan at Norwich, but it seems "murderers" chants and the likes aimed at LFC fans are always acceptable. That's where the hypocrisy is. In 2023.

That chant was called out by LGBT Liverpool fans, and by Klopp himself publicly. He asked the fans to stop it. The chants have stopped from what I can see.

I don't see any other managers doing the same, or fans for that matter. The one above seems to think they are fair game because 'you did it first'. No. Just stop them.

Standard of Chelsea v Liverpool is shockingly bad.

Villa 6 points off top 4. Mad season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,392 ✭✭✭d22ontour

When your fans stop singing Munich chants you might have a point, but alas they still sing them...

Mod note: it's not a competition of who sings the worst songs. Both sets of fans can be bad and both wrong. Enough of that now.

    Chelsea badly need a striker.

Liverpool badly need more asthma meds.

Chelsea Pool was the definition of sh1t on a stick.

Is Cooper the next manager to be sacked this week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,274 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

Have you withdrawn your allegation that Klopp assaulted an official or your previous allegation that Klopp headbutted an official?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,189 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Some job unai emery is doing, fair play to villa knew Gerrard wasn't working out early and gave him the bullet. Emery was a real coup

Birmingham is surely the great untapped potential in English football.

Neither club seems very fashionable or marketable though.

Cooper will be under huge pressure - Brendan Rodgers to Forest ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,753 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

Some deadly goals tonight in spite of the borefest at the Bridge.

Ferguson's was class, but Barnes' was Henry-esque too.

An absolutely pathetic game between 2 absolutely pathetic teams whoever decided to televise that should be done for cruelty.
