Any potential issues with my Consumer unit

Hi All,

would appreciate advice on whether the attached CU is fit for purpose. I have no issues but would value opinions here as to whether the breakers are correct. The Garo breaker is for lighting timer and the RCBO at position 8 is for electric shower.

Don't know if there was a recall on that type push in neozed switchfuse ?

The rcbo is a c type , not usually needed ,.but probably not an issue

Are the test buttons working ?

Hard to tell much more without testing or the cover off

New boards have advanced from that , but doesn't necessarily mean you need to upgrade

Someone mentioned the RCBO in that it may not pick up a fault as it’s the wrong type of RCBO so wanted to check for 2nd opinion before shelling out for a replacement. Thanks for the comments.

They're probably the older type AC

The newer type (generally A) work more reliably with modern electrical equipment connected

Not a lot of trip switch’s for sockets. Your immersion should be on one independently and that only leaves 2 for the rest of your socket circuits

its hard to tell visually if everything is in order.
