    hi folks,anyone own a savage 223 12 btcss?looking for the thread size for a moderator,these plcs might help,cant seem to find an answer anywhere,

    It's possible to buy a "thread gauge" in most hardware/tool stores and then there'll be no need to guess. Bon chance!

    think i have it figured,i came up with 18x1.the diameter is 11/16,and that seems to equate to 18x1 metric,if im wrong and i order the wrong size mod,(wildcat evo)then it will cost me for a bridge,thanks for replies

    If you give out your general location then you could check if any lads are near you, who are on Boards.ie, who have a Wildcat Evo - you could then arrange to travel to them to try it for fit before you order - just to be sure.

    update....it was indeed 18x1...got the wildcat evo today...thanks for replies..happy days ahead...ps as its a new rifle ill be zeroing soon,ill post a few pics
