    Cloudy near Ardagh, Longford. Wind is light enough but it's rather cool. Yearning for some nice warmth. The front area of this old house faces just east of South and there's a small wood of very large mature trees to the immediate East. From mid spring onwards, there's enough heat from the sun and enough shelter from the wind to allow it to get fantastically warm. In fact, I should get some temperature measurements this year to see if it really is as warm in the shade as it seems to be.
