Has anyone DDP (delivered duty paid) Batteries direct from Dyness in China? have a reasonable price on BX51100's, and just checking if anyone has gone this route. They say they will supply a 5 year warranty with the battery.

    Thanks

Interested in the price. I have one of the Dyness batteries but a different model... Power Depot... I wonder if they are compatible

There’s a big difference between a direct Chinese company giving a 5yr warranty and your ability to enforce it should the need arise….

How did you get on with this in the end? Thinking about doing the same.

I contacted them, they directed me to there irish agent in limerick. 2100 + Vat for BX51100. It seem very hard to source these batteries.

You would have thought so. I've had slow, but very reasonable support directly from Chinese companies (with EU agents) and had free warranty replacements directly from the Chinese manufacturer. Without ever being asked for a purchase receipt, or even asked where or when I bought it. Some even bought second hand. They seem to just work off the serial number of the appliance. And warranties are generally quite long too.
