Met Eireann issued a yellow weather warning for ice and frost last night until 10am today. There was no ice and frost, the sun was beaming from early this morning.

    Hang on Joe.

When there is sunny/rainy/windy/snow day in Dublin, you and the rest of RTE think its the same around the rest of the country.

    Utter tripe about Met.ie.

Even on his own stream on twitter, he has weather maps from Met.ie about snow forecasts.

the likes of these Amateur social media meteorologists like Alan Reilly of carlow weather and others should just give up - sensationalist click bait type “forecasts” fuelling worry and concern particularly by the elderly

Most of the time the weather forecast is different on the map of iIreland on met Eireann as you run it and the hourly forecast . Often get totally confused before I go outdoors. I use BBC YR and Windguru. in fairness met Eireann has improved their web site recently. A huge change from differentiating close colours. i never look at Meh Eireann. lol

i think I'll go howl at de Moon

    Even Joe is confused now.

Don't see much by way of snow advisory on https://www.met.ie/ right now.

In general Met Eireann are good but you must look beyond the simple basic forecast which is phrased for simpletons. Look at the charts and what's developing. They should get rid of that ridiculous Yellow/ Red/ Green warning system and stop treating the public as amadáns.

Between my colleagues on the phones and me typing away, I missed the start, but Jesus what am I listening to here.... The new moon on its back.... is he interviewing from an asylum?
