Declining a school place once you've accepted it. Is it possible in Ireland?

    Hi all!

We're a family of four moving to Dublin this summer. Some weeks ago we were offered a school place in a private primary school (which we accepted right away). This week we've being offered another place at a well known primary school (which would be our ideal choice). My question is: Can we decline the school place we already accepted? Is that legal /possible at all in Ireland? In many countries it's possible to change your mind, but we're unsure about Irish law. Thanks a lot!!
