Hi,

can anyone recommend a broker for life insurance?

My partner and I have taken out a mortgage but have been refused life insurance on medical grounds. Can anyone recommend a broker who can get us the cover we need?

I have found lion to be very good. I haven't needed to use it for your situation but they say they specialise in getting insurance if you have a medical condition.

Just in case you can't get cover ask your lender is it possible to do a waiver for that person, at least then it will take away the pressure if you can't get it or it's slow to get or very expensive.

There is provision in the Consumer Credit Act for people to get a mortgage without life cover under specific headings but lenders are not obliged to facilitate it, some do some dont!
