Waterproofing phone when mounted to a bike

I never taught about overheating to be honest I don't know how much it would change in say an hour. If I used a bag id have to cut a hole in it where the mount locks into the case. Its a pain in the arse that there poncho covers don't go over standard cases. I don't wanna buy one and take a chance.

My phone would be to big (Samsung s23 ultra) for starters I kinda don't wanna move away from the mount I'm using as its small and works perfectly otherwise. I'm just looking for something quick and simple I can lash over the phone and still be able to mount it to my current setup.

It was more just a make shift solution to cover the phone.

I actually just made a makeshift cover for it with one of those plastic covers and a few elastic bands haha it does the job but now I'm worried about what Explosive Cornflake mentioned above!! I have to look into it further. I've been using one of these for a year now and I don't think it ever caused issues to my phone camera but I dunno!

Thanks for the heads up on the vibration issue I would never of taught of that and I've been using my main phone on the bike for the last year or more.

I'm gonna just use an old phone I have no one uses will cost me more than I planned but guess wont need to worry then damaging expensive phone.

Yeah I seen they sell that but its designed for a motorbike mainly I imagine it would be a pain in the hole to put on a road bike.
