Almost certainly not. It would upset far too many people. But personally and hypothetically speaking, I would be all for it, just in terms of the sheer spectacle. Interviewing Bailey in that type of setting would be kind of lose-lose for Tiernan, though. He'd have his guard up to start with and if you try to probe him and get some kind of Padraig Flynn moment where something slips, I could see things getting pretty testy. On the other hand, if you talk around the thing he's best known for, you'll be accused of being too soft with him.

I could imagine Bailey agreeing if he were to be asked to go on, though. I don't think his ego would let him stay away.

I just watched it now, I enjoyed the first 2 guests but I just felt that the 3rd guy was pushing his agenda a little too much, when he said that Tommy had a platform to promote it I'm glad that Tommy said he had a listening platform, would have liked to have heard more about himself rather than the general discussion.

I would definitely have liked to hear more about what his doctorate was on and his own personal challenges than the rather generic discussion on disability.

    🙈🙉🙊

Saw clips of last nights show. More depression and misery for a "Saturday night entertainment show".

It seems to have turned into a therapy session for the guests, I don't think the first series was like that at all

Agree 100%. It use to be more just a random chat. Now a lot of the guest seem to be using it as a vehicle to unburden their souls ( a bit like a weird version of Confession).

It’s pre recorded so no irony.

Personally I thought the interview with Colm O’Rourke was unique in this day and age.

imagine ! . He wasn’t abused as a child, didn’t grow up in a disfunctional family , wasn’t fondled by a member of the clergy , didn’t have a drug problem , didn’t have a drink problem, wasn’t bullied at school, got his place on the team , didn’t think that the world owes him a living, .

Much as he tried Tiernan could not drag an ounce of misery from him .

Great to see that there are still some well balanced practical adults in the world.

And NO before the permanently offended comment I am not condoning any of the afflictions mentioned.

I missed last night as I was out but I cannot believe Viv was on. Knew him in college, and a good pal to this day. A sounder lad you couldn't meet. Loves his pints and hurling. May watch it when I get the chance.

Vivian Rath is well balanced and practical also.

I suppose two out of three ain't bad.

Just 4 men for the hair anyway

Ken winning in 1997 was magic. One my biggest killer losses in all sport was Ken losing the epic 2003 final to Williams.

Ken was a very good player, but always a notch or two below the more elite gifted players.

    Tiernan’s weirdly vulgar.

Seen this lad on a segment on the news before and he came across as unintentionally gas.

    I think it's natural.

Yes, lacked a bit of genius.

This lad is the stereotypical eccentric professor!

Is it just me ...or has this run its course ?

Ken Doherty interview was very awkward and shouldn't have been..

Like Thomas Tuchel mixed with Sheldon Cooper's intelligence and Boris Johnson's Englishness.

His problem was lack of consistency, when he put his mind to it, he had an all round game that was the measure of anyone but it didn’t happen often enough, was a player worthy of two world titles but lost two ( still he has had a very successful career no doubt)

He's absolutely unintentionally brilliant, making both Tommy and the audience laugh with him!
