Potter may start oiling the chain of his bike

Azpilicueta is down with what looks like a serious injury, kicked in the face by an attempted overhead kick by Mara. I'm watching the game live. There's been no replays, game immediately stopped and it's a lengthy stoppage, it was nasty looking. Southampton medical staff on the field as well. Mara got a yellow. The game was delayed by 10 minutes on the accident.

Forest equalise against City , looks offside

    Edit: Onside, goal given

And just a few hours ago Arsenal's title bid looked like it was imploding.

City's 3 points against Arsenal mean little now, as they're back to square one, of course it could mean something again down the line

Good day for Liverpool results wise, of course not a lot of good if they don't win

Gnonto and Coleman having a weird comical exchange at full time.

Potter is surely in big trouble at chelsea. They talk about long term view, but jeez, only so many bad results and performances he can absorb you'd think.

Disaster of a day for Leeds.

I hope Liverpool and Newcastle take lumps out of each other with Newcastle not winning and having a bunch of injuries/reds . .

Southampton have beaten Chelsea after 113 minutes. Boos ring out around Stamford Bridge at the end. Potter must be hanging on to his job by a string.

It's mad that City dropped points to Nottingham Forest, I thought it would be easy for them. And watching the Arsenal game in injury time, it looked nailed on that it was Arsenal who would be dropping points today.

If Tuchel had the opportunity to work with the squad we have now we'd be at minimum challenging top four.

    Potter looks lost tbh.

Ha, just saw the results for today. Great day for Arsenal.

I have a lot of pity for Graham Potter, he's a great manager at a hugely dysfunctional club.

IMO, any good manager would struggle there at the moment. Zero strategy when it comes to recruitment, throw enough shít at the wall and hope it sticks type of recruitment. He'll more than likely lose his job but he'll do well in the future I reckon.

Todd Boehly makes Ed Woodward look competent and that's saying something.

Great to see all the same.

    Nah.

McNeil had no right to instigate things, but at least it looked like he tested the hoarding's strength as he was cowering under a steward.

Rest of it is just the usual neanderthal pushing and shoving with Everton playing up to their fans, as usual. Just in case their car is the one to be targeted after the game if they get beaten.

Potter doesn’t look as lost as your owners “Ed Woodward” muppetry transfer policy playbook.

Great assist, great first touch - lovely goal Nunez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,902 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That looks a fair goal for Liverpool. VAR are checking, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Goal given. Nunez with the finish. Good goal.

Agreed but he'd be more apt at getting something out of them, he's proven to be a successful top level manager where as Potter is an unknown, as ramshackle and chaotic as Chelsea's transfer policy has been there is talent in that squad and any top manager worth their salt could put a team together out of it, so far Potter looks like he's not the man to do it but id still be in favor of giving him more time, to be fair he's been landed with tons of players and who even knows if they were even his picks so id give him more time, but I don't no how bad they're willing to let things get.

What is with the possible offside tagline on the VAR? clearly onside.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 258 ✭✭It is a Dunne Deal

Liverpool score with their first attack. The much lauded Newcastle defence absolutely terrible there.

Fantastic touch and finish. Get in Darwin !

Who would Chelsea appoint if potter was to get the sack? Can't see zidane taking it. That would leave poch and maybe that Gallardo dude from Argentina

Dare I say it, but Darwin certainly appears to be evolving

What looks good for the neutral is that both TAA & Saint-Maximin look on form offensively.
