    Bound to happen to Martinez

    LOL

Could be ruled out all the same

Haha if any keeper deserves that it's Martinez

Wow. What a goal. Great strike by Jorginho, but then Martinez is so unlucky, it comes off the crossbar and back off Martinez into the goal.

Keeper saw the strike, he was up and flying through the air, goal is good

It’s offside but zero hope you get it after what Arsenal had last week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,808 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

It's been a great game, but that's the cherry on top to end like that. Villa will be gutted and they're unlucky.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,424 ✭✭✭stesaurus

Villa deserved something and there were goals there if they tried more. Time wasting at home by Martinez from the start of the match has come home to roost. Such a horrible...

All the 'Neutrals' happy that the goal stands.

And Martinez's time wasting from the off surely impacted the six minutes added on time.

    Delicious.

    Martinez won't like that

    LOL

It’s a clear offside on the original shot. You can imagine the VAR referees were sh*tting themselves to be even seen as looking at it

Big win for arsenal , they really were beginning to have a complete collapse look about them recently.

4-2. Martinez out of position, up for a corner. Martnelli with a tap in.

    Delighted with that goal.

    Beautiful pass from Vieira

VAR have given Arsenal their 2 points back. Hopefully they shut up about it now.

    Great game.

    Well done Arsenal.

Huge win to break the slump.

Good match, big three points for Arsenal and a nice confidence booster. They're not quite dead yet!

Arsenal simply had to win that game. Fell behind twice but got there in the end.

Massive, massive result. Stay on City's coattails and get Jesus playing again.

I hope arsenal can keep this up, would love if Pep finished Season with nothing.

That said Pep 2.0 Arteta is hard to like!

Chelsea have Sterling, Havertz and Mudryk on the bench…..£200m on those 3 alone?

Still a couple of weeks away I'd reckon. Always enjoy Martinez being put back in his box.

How did VAR give the 2 points back? I left the room for a few mins at the end and must have missed a big decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,350 ✭✭✭POKERKING

Not much different to united having antony, maguire and sancho on the bench. There must have been lots of occasions when united had 200m wrapped up in 3 players on the bench. Liverpool anytime nunez and keita on the bench and city with grealish and two others. Its not really a surprise in todays market imo when players are costing the guts of 100m and relative average players are going for 50+

You've said this three or four posts in a row now but I really don't think it was interfering with play.
