Brilliant refereeing on spotting that Trossard dive.

Arsenal will need to get their sh^t together after this. I said it few weeks ago when they beat Man United, the games get tougher for teams who haven’t won the league as the pressure mounts. I expect something similar could happen to Newcastle (ironically a team that lost a big lead like arsenal have done ) as we get to the business part of the season if spurs or some other team puts them under pressure for top 4.

If Liverpool go on a big run they could even pip Newcastle, I wouldn’t be that surprised.

    Game over

Nice 2nd half collapse. Both in this game.......and probably the season

That last angle was the best - showed that Trossard played for the penalty and kicked Walker, not the other way around.

City have really punished Arsenal with their press.

That's a nice goal. Quality finish.

It just goes to show what a machine City are when commentators are saying "Arteta knows it's a long way back" when they are essentially joint top with a game in hand.

Massively demoralising result for Arsenal. City will win the league now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,873 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

That is a massive goal for the league title.

Can't see Arsenal coming back from it, or Man City relinquishing control.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,812 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

And that's the end of that. 3-1. Game over.

Congratulations to man city on winning the league.

I wouldn’t be too critical of Arsenal though against a team that are basically accused of being the biggest cheats in the PL and sustaining that level of cheating for a decade. It’s very hard to beat it, let alone even compete with it.

City will grind the league out from here now I think. The experience will see them them through.

Arsenal need to regroup and get their heads right or they'll be in danger of being passed by United.

Eddie missed the 3 chances that came his way

    There you have it.

Can't wait to see City win the league again.

The Premier league is basically going the same way as ligue 1 at this stage. The richest club wins pretty much every season. Best league in the world until City start hitting their stride in the run in.

    Ben White's very orange

Arsenal idiots throwing stuff at KDB.

Also, Pep resting KDB against against Spurs was a moronic thing to do.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,478 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

That's a very important point that isn't highlighted as often as it should be.

anyone think KDB should have been given a red for pushing arteta?

It's up to the premier league to actually have the balls to deal with the Manchester City situation properly. We all know they won't though.

Man City have won the last 11 matches in a row now against Arsenal in the league. Dominant. 11 wins, 0 draws, 0 losses.

Imagine if Klopp hadn't come to Liverpool and they were their usual inconsistent self we would be entering season 7 of these cake walks for City!!!

No they haven't. Arsenal neat City in the FA Cup.
