Not nature or landscape. So, like it or lump it the GAA is part of our culture (along with wrecking the bogs).

Nope, you're incorrect in your assumptions. As someone that has used the West coast for holidaying and visiting for decades & having worked with people on the WAW project that rely on tourism money that isn't the case. Money being spent in villages, butchers, bakers, pubs, shops & restaurants are welcomed by locals, particularly the ones that have set up business on the bases of tourism and visitors and those they employ.

I use a camper (as you obviously know, hence the mention) and I've never ever ever seen mountains of them. In fact there's a burgeoning business for pubs that serve food welcoming campers, they even give them cheap/free electricity hook ups in the carparks to stay if they're eating and drinking in the pubs. There's even a phone app that lists them.

Try it... take a "staycation" as it's called now this summer, you'll see.
