Hi guys- looking for some opinions before pulling the trigger on a new phone. Upgrading from a One plus 7(previously owned a oneplus 3). After Flagship level spec but not to break the bank.

Have narrowed it down to a OnePlus 10pro- reduced to €699 on OP website currently after the release of the OP11. I find the fast charge particularly appealing. Size wise- bigger of the two phones.

Pixel 7 is obviously newer- currently €650(possibly lower if another google sale on). Have heard few people mention bugs especially in regard to the finger print sensor. Faster/more guarantee re OS updates going forward.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on which phone is superior + other things I should consider. Cheers

Pixel 7 is €590 in Argos. I've had OnePlus One, 3T, 6, 7T and currently using the 8T and I'll 100% be moving away from them for my next phone, will miss the fast charging though.

Thanks for the reply @xtal191 . Will have a look in Argos- leaning toward the Pixel 7 at the minute. What makes you so keen to move away from OnePlus out of interest. Have had both of mine for 3 years each and they've been flawless.

IMO they peaked with their 7 series phones, their earlier phones were great bang for buck but now with the prices they charge there's better options from Google and Samsung at similar prices.

Thanks for this, I was searching the net for the cheapest price for this and Argos never appeared. Said I'd check Boards before ordering from Google and you have saved me a few quid. Cheers!

I'm upgrading from a OnePlus 5, having had the OnePlus 1 too. I agree with others, OnePlus have gone from been a flagship beater to been more expensive than a flagship in some cases. Not worth the money in my opinion, but I will miss the fast charging also.

Also I won't miss the Oxygen OS, I still have OnePlus apps that can't be updated or deleted, basically just wasting space.

I went with Argos and loving it so far, very smooth and snappy and a lot of great features that were not present on my old phone (One Plus 5). Would recommend it so far on my limited time with it.
