Anyone here been to Wetherspoons in Carlow?

I've been a few times for dinner. There is almost always someone there pissed drunk and the staff don't know how to deal with them. I've never seen anyone get abusive though I've never been there at night or at the weekends. Anyone go there much who knows what it's like?

I haven't been there this year, but usually go one about every 6 weeks or so.
At the weekends at least, downstairs is usually aul fellas (like myself) having a few pints and watching whatever sport is on the TV.
All the younger crowd are upstairs.
The latest i've been there is 8pm so no idea what it's like late at night.
During the day there can be a few messy young lads who're clearly on a carry over from the night before.
Like you, i've never seen any fights.
