Probably just trying to deflect on to someone who is more unlikeable than himself. Its a small pool.

He says they will fight back from the lower divisions.

Pep would love that. He can only manage teams who are financially doped way beyond their rivals.

Just heard some of Peps nonsense, he can’t and won’t accept that the club has done anything wrong because it affects him personally and he’s thrown his whole lot in with this crowd. If there’s one thing people with massive egos can’t handle , it’s when they were wrong (or did something wrong) and allowed their tail to wag them into trouble.

Why is he talking about relegation? He said he’d leave if they were Lieing, if they were relegated it means they were proven guilty so supposedly lieing to him (I think he knows exactly what’s going on, he’s no shame). So he’s lied about that , he fits right in at city, building a legacy on lies and cheating, hopefully the EPL can properly start to get its house in order by teaching city a lesson.

West Ham v Chelsea, Hammers player takes a dive and ‘injures’ himself. Game stops for 5 mins. Blatant dive. The game needs to stamp that time wasting out.

Turns out he did injure himself. Karma for diving in the first place.

Chelsea look fairly sharp in the opening 15

No surprise that Chelsea take the lead. Felix came close earlier and finishes off the second time. This could get ugly for West Ham if they don't wake up.

Bowen takes a dive and Chelsea given all the time in the world to score due to Bowen not picking someone up. Karma.

Chelsea are really bossing this and West Ham are very lucky that its only 1-0, a couple of close offside calls preventing the game being over as a contest already.

I got a warning here for giving my opinion of Pep a few weeks back, it hasn't changed.

1-1 completely against the run of play but somehow its level.

Joao Felix is a proper player.

Cucurella on the other hand is woeful.

Some serious pace in that chelsea team now

    Just saw the goals now.

Reece James completely asleep at the back post for the West Ham goal.

Stupid free to give away by Ziyech and Chelsea were lucky that VAR came to their rescue.

Madueke didn't look all that, Mudryk the same.

Absolute blatant handball. Shocking that was not a pen.

I think the rules now don’t exist… only rule is don’t undermine the ref…. I would be raging if I was a Chelsea fan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,869 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Surprised a pen wasn't given there.

I rember the officiating in the World Cup being grand….,some good, some bad but generally ok… premier league refs/var…. Consistently awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,764 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

VAR is confusing, as that was an incredible save from Soucek, , you rarely see a deliberate handball in football, lot of handballs that are technically penalties, but this was a deliberate act to save it, so VAR with all the angles and replays didn't see it, or VAR with all the angles and replays did see it, but stayed quiet, both are as bad, and one of them is true.

Brentford should be ahead, Toney should have scored that chance

Spurs beat City and in the next game go 3-1 down away to Leicester.

    They have been shocking.

Leicester getting some reward for sticking by Brendan Rodgers. Fair play to him.

    Deserved equaliser for Brentford

Should be a tasty last 15 mins now

Brentford won around 5 balls in a row in the Arsenal penalty area for that goal - Toney.

Norgaard was offside. VAR didn't even check it.
