After the success of their promotional cd ‘South’ in 2002, Polar release their highly anticipated debut single proper ‘Butterflies’ with a launch show in The Village on Thursday the 27th of November.

In the summer of 2002 Polar decided to give away 1000 copies of their promotional cd ‘South’ free from their website. This gesture received overwhelming positive feedback. Polar garnered critical acclaim, and huge radio-play from Phantom FM, Today FM, 2FM, FM 104, CKR FM, Beat 102-103 and X FM. Polar were beginning to earn a place as one of Ireland’s premium young bands. The release of ‘Butterflies’ is set to cement this position

‘Butterflies’ goes on sale in “all good record shops” on Friday November the 28th. The ‘Butterflies’ single also features the tracks ‘The Comfortable Silences’ & ‘All Purpose Underneath’.
Polar celebrate the launch @ The Village of Wexford St. on Thursday the 27th of November and at an instore in Tower Records of Wicklow St. on Saturday the 29th of November

‘Butterflies’ will be available from Tower Records & Road Records in Dublin.
