How dare you say that, it's an Irish filum with Irish actors, 🤔🤔

I've only watched half of it, apart from the scenery it's a load of b#llox

Why do the irish love the Oscars? Eh we don't Joe . If a movie wins an Oscar why should that make any difference to any Irish person. Fair enough if involved in movie otherwise who cares.

    This wans talking nonsense.....

It doesnt lift me at all that the movie won awards. In my opinion the banshee movie was crap and goes to show that awards are a load of rubbish.

I love the way we tell everyone, the reason people love the Irish so much is because we're so modest and don't brag about what we do and never blow our own trumpet 🤔

Duffy thinks he’s a Hollywood insider by calling it “banshee”.

    pig ignorant clown

Not listening but judging by the comments on here I am in the minority in that I really enjoyed that fillum.

Would that qualify me to call in and blow smoke up Duffys hole and ask him how's the leg?

It's ok for Joe and the luvvies to claim yank Martin McDonagh as Irish but once the Brits claim Saoirse Ronan as one of their own: Meltdown!!!!!

Watched banshee’s and the only thing I felt was that was 2 hours I’ll never get back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 792 ✭✭✭steinbock123

Banshees has a ridiculous plot, like who cuts off their own fingers if they’re annoyed? Would have made more sense if Gleeson had cut off Farrells fingers.

Wonder will friend of the show Brendan Gleeson bring Duffoon to Hollywood for the Oscars ceremony in appreciation of all his “support”.

anything happen in west Dublin last night worth talking about apart from a film donkey

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,327 ✭✭✭Mena Mitty

Bord Failte will find a way to bring the Banshee back to life. Can't you just imagine herself and Joe Dolan holograms belting out 'Make me an island' advertising St.Patricks day.

I thought it was OK, but not very memorable and certainly a better film if you haven't seen it if you knowwarramean

Just far below the sum of its parts.

Nowhere close to being the best film of last year

Farrell was decent, but Condon stood out. Not sure what film people were watching when talking about Keoghan.
