Colin Farrell in The Gentlemen. He stole every screen he was in.

Far too many films mentioned for a TV forum.

Olivia Coleman in BBC comedy Twenty Twelve. She is so obviously hopelessly in love with the Hugh Bonneville character but is too professional to show it , and the conflicting emotions billow across her face in a breathtaking display of acting, it's no wonder she went on to great things.

Probably more films are listed because in a TV series unless they are in a limited series or once off guest star role they will soon become main cast if they are that entertaining on screen.

I watched repeat of 70s series The Roads to Freedom on BBC4 recently. I thought Anthony Higgins in a supporting role was the focus of every scene he was in. Surprised he didnt go onto bigger things.

And in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy... Bernard Hepton having fun as Toby Esterhaze.

I suppose easier to steal the scene when rest of the cast putting in straight / restrained performances... someone can play off that.

I thought Jessie Buckley's performance in Fargo season 4 was amazing.

She’s a good actress but that season was a bit crap. It started off ok and Chris Rick was good but it all went downhill fast. The Oz episode was total sh1t.

It was by a mile the weakest series but she saved it, for at least the scenes she was in.
