Anywhere to fish this time of year near Dublin?

Hi folks, Want to bring my 4 year old nephew out fishing in a couple of weeks as he seems to be fascinated by it. I haven't been fishing in about 20 years. Is there anywhere within an hour's drive of south Dublin where it's like you'd catch something? Thanks.

if you want to catch then go for a paid fishery http://annamoetroutfishery.com/ ; 20 for 4 hours, Ask and they might let the young lad in for free. Otherwise, in winter, you are likely to have a very bored kid and little catch.
