Really fun Smackdown to end the year with a lot of good stuff.

Mixed feelings on Charlotte, glad she's back as the division needs a boost but making her champ straight away, I dunno. Glad Ronda isn't champ (although her match this week was her best in a while) but worried Charlotte is just going to be fed everyone, we'll see.

Uncle Howdy stuff was better than the other week but Jesus a Pitch Black match sponsored by Mountain Dew, way to ruin any mystique. LA Knight is such a damn star, hope depending how this goes he isn't tarnished. Thought the Solo/Sheamus match was good and interesting to see how the tag match goes.

Main event was fun and the most Cena match ever to show up, shout your spots and do 5 moves. Gas but the crowd loved it and it was nice seeing Cena back, wonder if we'll see him at the Rumble (probably not). Also on a minor note, their tribute to Don West was a nice gesture.

I mean Cena has always been a complete disaster when calling stuff in the ring. Yes, we know it happens but it’s the blatant nature when cena does it, it takes me out of the match.

This Uncle Howdy stuff is pure "wrestlecrap". And not in the daft but enjoyable way. I don't care who he is or what his intentions for Bray are. I respect that Wyatt tries to come up with this stuff but it just doesn't work. I was tired anyway but I switched off after that.

Honestly, I love the “wrestlecrap” stuff. I don’t watch Smackdown, really, but I’ll watch the Wyatt stuff every week. It’s nonsense and makes no sense, but I still am interested it in more than most of the other stuff they make. It’s professional wrestling at it’s purest.

What was the point of that title switch with Charlotte? If it was to boost ratings they would've advertised her being there or use it to set up a match. But the whole thing didn't make sense. Was it even officially sanctioned outside of the usual champ being able to setup matches? And way to build future talent? If they wanted the title off Ronda, give it to Raquel and see how she gets on. Then have Charlotte beat her if it doesn't work. Or even as a grudge match, Charlotte comes out to attack Ronda in a post match beatdown which lets Raquel feud someone else while Ronda feuds with Charlotte. 2 separate women's stories instead of wrapping 2 stories into the title picture.

I know what they were chanting but why were they chanting "Whoop that trick" at Sonya? Tried googling but any results just say what they were chanting and what it's from.

So either Sami loses next week or there will be shenanigans involved.

Well it didn't look like there was much change at least with Vince around, thank god.

Top Dolla did lose a serious amount of weight alright, I think a heel turn was called for alright. Hit Row got pretty stale pretty quick, think they should get a new member to lead them in the way Swerve did.

Can't believe Charlotte is getting such good reactions, decent match too tbf. Main event was great and the Roman/Sami dynamic is still interesting. Think we could see something interesting alright at the Royal Rumble match if Sami gets roped into it.
