Tip-Over Water Trough - Condon Engineering

I eventually got around to putting up a Tip-Over water trough. It's a 20 Litre stainless bowl with galvanised surround and frame. I saw it at the ploughing and liked the look of it. I fixed it with 4 protruding rawl bolts but it's more designed to be fixed to a RSJ. 30 cattle young and old drinking from it and it doesn't seem to be under pressure.

Up 6 weeks and the only problem is the cattle haven't s1tted into it yet.

Looks a great job. Would 20l capacity be enough for 30 cattle?

A winter yard is very different to a field drinker where they all come to drink together. Sales guy with Condon Eng said it would do 20 cattle, but seems fine so far with 30.

It's in the link above - €198 + VAT. Think it was 265 total delivered to east Clare. Expensive, but the bowl is stainless so won't rust.
