    Probably a stupid question but what are the perks or benefits of this duolingo subscription if you don't mind me asking? I just use the free version and after a few mistakes need to wait to continue so wondering what the perks or differences are compared to the free one?

    @lucalux .... do you think this is going ahead?

    I have an offer from Duolingo to retake up my expired single subscription for 60% off. It's a time limited offer.... expires Saturday evening... so I'm keen to know the likelihood of your family plan proceeding.

    I know there's always some amount of hassle herding people.

    I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning @sector_000 given the week that's in it, it might just be people are busy? You're right it is often that people are online at different times!

    Seems like anyone who was on already Duolingp Plus cannot join a family or set up a family.

    Anybody see any alternative to the personal membership?

    Was just about to post about that. Seems as long as the offer is on, they've removed the family plan option. I guess to try and push people to the personal offer. Looking online it's a common problem.

    So with ~46 hours left, may be able to set one up on Tuesday evening.
