Yeah wasn't a very nice scene although I would expect it from Shirley, she's always angry, so loosing another child she would lash out at anyone no matter how innocent or fragile they are.

Scarlett did lie for Janine so I can understand Shirley being angry, if Scarlett had spoken up Mick would probably have dumped Janine

EastEnders has cast Hollyoaks actor Fabrizio Santino as part of a new Zack storyline. The Walford newcomer played the role of Ziggy Roscoe in Hollyoaks between 2013 and 2015, and joins the BBC soap as Brett, an old acquaintance of Zack's.

Why doesn't Scarlet stay with Kat again, wasn't she under her wing till Janine came back? Vaguely remember a storyline where Kat would do anything to keep her and Tommy together, now Kat barely features in her life.

I don't think Linda is gone for good. Shirley is the big question for me though, but I guess it makes sense for the characters as well. Somebody had to talk to the kids since I doubt there will be a funeral for Mick, and Shirley has now had to deal with the loss of both Tina and Mick so I guess her character needs some time to heal, and being around Albert Square brings up bad memories of them. Either way, their exits were handled well I think.

Yes, I didn't get the impression that Linda was gone for good.

I thought there seemed to be more finality to what Shirley was saying. I thought the scene with her and Scarlett was good. She really really didn't want to say anything even vaguely good about Janine 😁 but managed somehow.

I guess the way is open for either or both to return anyway.
