Three Mobile Broadband - Only certain packages

Would anyone know why Three restrict what 4g and 5g packages I can get based on my address? For example they won't let me order the 5G option without the expert install option. I assume they think the area needs an external antenna but I'm unsure.

indication that 5G will not work without external antenna.

I did not try, but if you go to the store and say "i want", they likelly sell it, but you wave your "14 day return" and you on your own to setup.

Hmm maybe. 5G seems to be fine on my phone and I've tested it for a few days at different hours

Just seems weird considering Eir and VF will just sell you a modem, no questions asked! Weird to see a company kinda looking after you!

I might drop them an email anyway and see what they say.
