Would they be capable of stepping it up in extra time, with maybe an extra attacking player instead of Lucas or Casemiro? I mean it's surely the logical thing to do against an older and presumably tireder team. But that seldom seems to happen in these situations...

I said strike a balance not sell out to put everyone on Mbappe, which is probably what he will do.

They may not be a one man show but they are not far off it in all honesty.

You’d have to start wondering at this stage just how intentional it is from Croatia to consistently take every knockout game to extra time. This is their fifth time in six World Cup knockout matches, and they’ve won all five that have gone past 90 minutes.

They clearly fancy themselves at penalties and with good reason. If it works, it works.

Ah Croatia, bad from them. Keeper should have claimed it and they've let Neymar who has been dreadful score. The keeper should have dived on it, instead he went with his feet and he looks like he pulled out of it, for fear of giving away a penalty.

He didn't go with his feet. He stood up to try block a potential shot as he rushed out.
