I've seen that exact type on sale in Woodies for example. Wouldn't touch a no-name charger as I don't want my house to burn down thank you very much.

It's not even the fire risk in this case! This charger is very poorly made and features a design where the output voltage isn't isolated from the mains. That can mean that if you touch an earthed device or appliance or even a sink while holding a phone which is attached to this charger, you could be electrocuted.

China Export thing is an urban myth, its just a badly faked logo as your middle link eventually points out.

Anyone can slap a fake logo on.
