Upgrading electric heating system from storage to modern digital heaters, does this qualify for any of the SEAI grants?

Nope.
The only electric heating that qualifies is a heat pump install.

Also Theres quite a market for the old storage heaters, just dont throw them in the skip!

Also, Are the newer heaters, Just on demand or Infrared or storage heaters with better control. (heat is heat, Id be still be wanting to try and take advantage of off peak rates vs going on demand.
Be careful of the marketing bull...
