    Hi All,

I recently completed a job interview for a promotional position - the interview ended with my interviewer saying:

“this is all a learning experience”

This makes me think they are suggesting that I didn’t get the job… would I be right or is this something that’s just said at the end of most interviews naturally?

Well, it is, isn't it? I said the same thing to my OH before every promotion interview. Eventually she got promoted....long after it was deserved imo. You don't want to draw any conclusions from what was said. If it's a public service role, it will take a few tries unless you're part of the clique.
