Why taxi drivers add 2 € manually at the end of the travel?

    Hi everybody, I'm sorry if it's not something actually related to Galway, but I'm just getting confused by this thing here. It happened to me many times in Galway (but I'm not sure if it actually has something to do with Galway), but not always, and with different companies, that once arrived to destination, the driver pushes a button and manually adds 2 € to my fare. Is anybody here who knows why that happens? Thank you!
