    For the results the PAS response I got was "within two weeks of the last day of interviews". We got ours within a week.

    Best of luck to everyone up in this batch 🙂👍🏻

    Hi Kerry

    just in relation to the presentation and report, how much detail should I go into it as in how many staff I’m going to have for the project, what they are going to be doing, timescales etc?? As opposed to keeping my proposal general? Any info would be great

    It probably depends on your topic and how specific your proposal is. Il send you a pm

    I was supposed to be interviewed last month but had to defer due to illness. I got my new topics today for presentation and boy are they hard and messy. The last three would have suited me much better. Oh well. Will just have to do m best.

    Would anyone have the information booklet for this competition?

    @furrybones that's the circular that was issued earlier this year.

    Hi @MBOS , I was placed for Dublin. Had Tipperary as second choice but interviews haven't begun there yet (I think!)

    Hi I'm Dublin too but hoping for Kildare but I don't know if Kildare have been interviewed yet

    Coming to the end of my report and if I put the line spacing to 1.5 my report goes into 5 pages. Did anyone not do the line spacing and still pass?? If I start shortening it down I will loose a lot of stats and information which I don’t want to because I won’t be able to talk about any of it in the presentation if it’s not on my report.

    Am I able to put things short hand on the report and then expand in the presentation for example saying who my stakeholders are and then in the presentation explain who they are and what they will help with?

    @Newgirl22

    Just my opinion , but

    I would recommend you follow the brief as you could run the risk of being deducted markings. The interview board has to look at a lot of reports and I would imagine the margin and line spacing is to make it more appealing to them.

    If the brief states 1.5 line spacing then you need to comply or run the risk of being penalised. There is no reason why you can't make notes and expand on them during the presentation.

    Best of luck with it.

    Honestly you need to just cut it down to 3 pages with the 1.5 line spacing. If you don't, its one of the instructions for the report sure. Not doing that means you havnt followed the instructions and you could disqualify yourself after getting this far, nobody wants that.

    There is way too much specific info being given out on this thread. It must be very frustrating reading for ones a batch or two down

    Hi everyone,

    I just read that people failed on team leadership and that you should have a really solid team leadership example. Any guidance on what I should make sure is in my team leadership example??

    @Newgirl22

    And remember that they are not going to test you or verify the stats you are giving. They need to see you can adhere to the brief and give them a brief analysis of the topic.

    Best of luck with it

    @BJG524

    I have personally found it beneficial receiving such information especially from the successful candidates. The help and advise given is very much appreciated.

    Just got my clearance mail, hopefully won't be long 😁👍🏻

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 82 ✭✭MaryRyan48

    Totally agree with this...it's to show how you can condense the information and only present to them the points you think are relevant. You can give a short reference in your report and then expand on it in your presentation.... it'll help you to fill your time when you have specific points you need to expand on. Hope that makes sense!

    The information is coming from people who have already completed the interview so they wouldn't be sharing knowledge for the people behind them if they didn't want to. Personally I'd like everyone who has got this far to do well!
