Match thread for the A game. Should be a good game. Great experience for some of the Irish players to face capped all blacks, and a great challenge for the Irish half backs against the ab half backs

Weird that casey was covering the wing after so many phases on the other side of the pitch. Where was Stockdale?

Very much test intensity here. Not quite the accuracy we're accustomed to but a much higher standard than URC.

McKenzie stand out at the moment. Ireland working very hard but poor once we get into the AB's half or try to play a bit much through the middle of the park.

Looked harsh on Stockdale, didn't appear to have been a ruck when he went for the ball.

Looking ominous now unfortunately. A lot of bluster by the Irish at the start but nothing to show for it.

Don't think we've been physically outmatched by New Zealand, but rather we keep handing them back possession so cheaply.

Couple of knock ons and failure to secure our own lineout.

I'd like to see a replay of the line out in the NZ 22 again from a wide angle, looked like hands on the Irish jumper but not sure if it had an impact

Irish forwards are brutal at lineout and really letting Casey down at ruck time.

All the forwards are on the same side of the field as the tackle and the only guy rucking over is our scrum half...sums up the irish performance perfectly.
