Is this Alex Jones ?

I was listening to a radio programme roughly 12 years ago in the UK so circa 2010-2011

The DJ played a clip of a guy giving a speech. I think he was running for local office in maybe California. I looked online and also watched it and I think I remember it being in a community hall type setting.

The guy was a bit ranty and his voice kept breaking as he got louder and louder. He came across a tad unhinged.

I think it may have been fairly viral at the time but I can’t find anything when I search for it.

So basically, a guy in a blue shirt ranting and his voice breaking as he got excited. He was defo a laughing stock and ridiculed for it at the time.

Does it ring any bells ?

Thanks for the effort but no cigar.

It was indoors.

It was more of a speech about what he would do if voted in rather than acceptance.

I have a shocking memory so I’m really struggling to remember what level of government he was running for.

I just remember it ending in him almost sounding like he was about to start crying as his voice was wavering so much.

It was definitely viral circa 2010. Give or take 2 years.

I didn’t want to share who I remember it to be in case I was wrong.

I don’t remember it being this guy but my facial recognition is telling me that’s who it is.

I think it was Alex Jones. But I could be very wrong. Maybe sharing that name will jog a few other memories ?

Well in that case you described just about any time Alex Jones was on air on any given week for the last 10 years, honestly. He gets worked up on air about everything. It's mostly a bit. One that's landed him lots of legal trouble but I digress.

The clip I’m referring to was circa 2010.

The person was running for some local office in America.

I don’t think Alex Jones was a thing then so nobody knew who he was. I think he may have tried running for local office before he went out on his own.

It was definitely a popular clip/gif back then.

It may not have been Alex Jones but that’s who my minds eye is seeing.

Alex Jones was definitely fairly well known in 2010/11 and he wasn't running for any office. This was around the time InfoWars started to take off on YouTube.
