This just started now. Top 20 Irish songs ever. I’m not expecting much. No 20 Hothouse Flowers, so it’s already off to a dodgy start.

Songs which should be there - An Dearg Doom, Boys Are Back in Town, Downmarket, Town to Town.

Oh Jesus - Bewitched now. HHF, I take it all back !

Brian Kennedy singing Brown Eyed Girl. Pep the fukkin thing up Brian for Chrissakes, it’s not a funeral dirge. One of only two Van songs that I think are any use. (Moon dance the other, obviously.

That American lady’s renediton of ride on was pretty amazing.

But overall not expecting too much - if the votes were cast by 2fm listeners….

Can someone, anyone, explain why this Ruth Anne one keeps appearing on RTE programs? Is she an NK act? Have literally never seen/heard of her anywhere other than on RTE TV shows.

I’d pick Old Town by Philo actually. Teenage Kicks should be top 3, but probably won’t be. Distinctly underwhelming list so far. Couple of them weren’t even songs for Gods sake.
